Chris is an accomplished pianist and violinist with a lifelong passion for music, beginning with piano lessons in preschool. His musical journey continued in primary school when he took up the violin to join the orchestra, enabling him to perform music with others.
During his years at Sydney Grammar School, Chris's dedication to music was evident. He was actively involved in t he school's music program, participating in the many string ensembles and orchestras from Year 3 through to Year 12. Even during the busy year of the HSC, he remained committed to his musical pursuits and sporting commitments. In high school, Chris had the opportunity to expand his experience on the keyboard, engaging in piano duets, forming a piano quintet, and even accompanying the school choir for a few years. He was also able to showcase his talent in the school’s musicals, having roles on both the keyboard and synthesizer. His high school musical achievements culminated in reaching the finals of the school's prestigious concerto competition on piano.
Currently, Chris enjoys playing music as a main hobby while pursuing a Bachelor of Actuarial Studies at UNSW. He has developed a remarkable talent for sight-reading on the piano, having explored a wide range of musical pieces.
As a music teacher, Chris's primary goal is to foster a genuine love for music in his students. He strives to ensure that his students find joy in playing the piano, encouraging them to pursue music out of passion rather than obligation. Chris is dedicated to helping his students truly enjoy their very own musical journey.
