Emma is an enthusiastic and dedicated musician, commencing her violin studies at the age of six. She has learned from Professor Peter Zhang and studied with Janet Davies from Year 5 at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music’s ‘Rising Stars’ program. Emma completed the highest level Licentiate Diploma (LMusA) with distinction at fourteen years old.
Furthermore, she was the Concertmaster in all her music ensembles at North Sydney Girls and was selected as a soloist at the Art’s Alive concert in the Sydney Town Hall, accompanied by her school’s Advanced String Ensemble. Emma’s dedication to music proved most significant when she ranked first in her year for HSC Music 2 and Music Extension, received her school’s ‘Elizabeth Jones Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music in the School’ and was nominated to perform at Encore. She has been a member of the Sydney Youth Orchestras, concertmaster of the Young Mannheim Symphonists Music Camp Orchestra and was selected to attend the Australian Chamber Orchestra (ACO) Academy Music Camp.
Emma’s committed and personal approach towards all her students is reflected by their passion and high achievements in music.
